While Nagambie Lakes Leisure Park offers the means to many a water activity end - be it sailing, waterskiing, canoeing or swimming - there is no recreation more popular than fishing ... whether it’s from a boat, or on the shore. Heavens above, you can practically dangle a line from your balcony!

With its combination of river systems, lakes and backwaters, Nagambie offers the keen angler a number of opportunities. In these waters you could find (on the end of your line), Spiny Freshwater Crayfish, Golden Perch, tasty Redfin trout (closed season from mid-June to first Saturday in September) or the daddy of them all, the Murray Cod (Open season 1 December - 31 August).
